It was on 8th July 2015 that Shahid Kapoor tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with an outsider from the film industry—a Delhi-based girl right out of college, Mira Rajput. To escape the paparazzi and media glare, the two decided to get married in Mira's hometown, in the presence of family and close friends. However, the couple did throw a star-studded reception for fraternity friends at a later date. 

It's been more than 5 years since, and the two have been blessed with a beautiful girl and boy. Misha, their first-born, is nearly 5 years old, while Zain is 2 years of age. Despite being a superstar who has proven himself at the box office, time and again, Shahid Kapoor also happens to be a humble family man who enjoys spending quality time with his better half and offsprings.
