The no trousers trend is going nowhere.

Kristen Stewart just wore two pairs of micro shorts in 24 hours

Exactly a week after Kristen Stewart stepped onto the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film Love Lies Bleeding wearing only a cut-out high-leg backless leotard and tights that took the no trousers trend to new extremes, she's only gone and declared her love for bottom-less attire again. This time wearing two different micro shorts looks in 24 hours. At this point, she's vying for Kendall Jenner's title as the unofficial poster girl of the style.

Spotted out in New York, Kristen's first outfit of the day consisted of a beige shirt worn with cream high-waist cable-knit knickers that featured a brown trim. Her shirt was buttoned only at the top button, worn open to flash the nude bra she had on underneath. She added nude tights and patent maroon heeled court shoes and carried a black Chanel top handle handbag in one hand.

Kristen did change up her look slightly, switching her heels for maroon tasselled loafers, doing up the buttons on her shirt save for the top few and pulling her touselled hair into a messy updo.

A full outfit change occurred later in the day. This time, Kristen donned a black high-neck t-shirt with lace sleeves and side panels. The top also featured a white collar, with a small white Chanel logo adorning the chest.

Kristen paired it with high-waist black athletic style micro shorts with a white trim, black Chanel branded leg warmers and the same maroon heels from earlier in the day. In place of her red-tinted geometric sunglasses, she had on a pair of black RayBan wayfarers and her hair was styled in a wet-look updo.

Both of Kristen's 'fits were again from her stylist Tara Swennen, the same woman behind her risqué leotard look. One follower commented, "It keeps getting better and better 👏🏼🔥" and we couldn't agree more
