Here's How Karan Johar is Looking Out for Janhvi Kapoor After Sridevi's Untimely Demise

Like a true mentor.

Ever since the official news of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter being roped in for Dhadak, the remake of Marathi movie, Sairat broke, Sridevi was undoubtedly the happiest in the Kapoor family. The actor was delighted that her daughter will be mentored by Karan Johar, who has previously given his golden advice to successful actors like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, etc.

Sridevi was very excited for her daughter's first movie. In fact, she was present at the location for Janhvi's first shooting schedule. Her friend and designer Manish Malhotra had posted a selfie on Dec 1st, which was taken in Udaipur from Janhvi's first day of shoot.

When the news of Sridevi's untimely demise started spreading, Karan Johar was the first person who rushed to Janhvi's home and took her to her uncle, Anil Kapoor's house.

The film industry firmly believes in the phrase, 'the show must go on'. After this tragic incident, Bollywood came to a stand still, but, with a heavy heart everyone is slowly trying to move on.

Soon Janhvi will also resume shooting for the movie, Dhadak. But, mentor Karan is ensuring that she is not rushed into anything just yet. A source was quoted by a leading daily saying, "Karan was close to Sridevi; he is also close to Janhvi now. He understands that she will not be in a position to work for a while. He has even instructed the team to take it easy with her. Having said that, Karan wants it to be a film that Sridevi would have been very proud of."

Isn't he a true mentor!
