5 Facts About Tara Sutaria, the Student of the Year 2 Actor

As soon as Dharma production roped in Tiger Shroff for the lead role in SOTY2, lot of speculations about the leading ladies of the movie started. According to the rumors many names were considered including that of Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. However, the star kid who actually made it to the poster of this movie is Ananya Pandey, actor Chunkey Pandey's daughter. The third person who made it to Karan Johar's prestigious 'student list' is Tara Sutaria. Here's what we know about her:

1. Tara started her career as a video jockey for Disney Channel India.

2. She has acted in sitcoms like The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir (2012) and Oye Jassie (2013).

3. She is a trained ballet dancer. Tara also trained in modern dance and Latin American dances at the School of Classical Ballet and Western Dance, Royal Academy of Dance, United Kingdom and the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing, United Kingdom.

4. She has been singing professionally in operas and other competitions since the age of seven. The very talented Tara has performed solo concerts in London, Tokyo, Lavasa and Mumbai. 

5. The 22-year old has a twin sister, Pia Sutaria.
