 Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu flew to Toronto for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) where their movie released as Husband Material. Abhishek had previously attended TIFF for the screening of his film Guru in the year 2007. The actor revealed that after the premier of the film he proposed his then co-actor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Abhishek said, "Toronto has always been a very special for me. The last time I premiered my film here, I proposed to my wife."

He quickly added, "She warned me not to do any such thing after the premiere of Manmarziyaan."
