So This is What Alia Bhatt's Mom, Soni Razdan, Has to Say About Her Relationship With Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor may not officially discuss their relationship status as much, or answer media questions that openly—but Alia's social media is a dead giveaway to the fact that they are happily in love.

In fact, if you want to catch all the times she actually confirmed their relationship on the Gram, you need to see these photos.

Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor and Alia are already pretty tight, as suggested by their frequent Instagram chit-chat in the comments section. Rishi Kapoor and Mahesh Bhatt, too, have been questioned about their children dating, so it was only obvious that Alia's mother Soni Razdan would be up next.

While the rest have expressed a lot of appreciation and acceptance of the love-birds, Alia's mom wasn't as direct, in her conversation with HT.

Talking about the incessant reports and rumours, she said, "I have a very good relationship with my daughter. I don’t go by what rumours say; I talk to her directly. We have had discussions on what’s going on or not going on in her life. It’s her life at the end of the day, so I am happy to let her live it the way she wants to."

On what she feels about Ranbir, Razdan quipped, "I don’t discuss these things with anybody. Of course, we know Ranbir very well."

Ranbir's parents have been very approving and are quite fond of Alia, to which Soni said, "We all know each other, I have worked with him. I know Neetu and Ranbir. What’s the big thing? But Ranbir is a lovely, lovely boy."

Well, there you go. The "lovely" speaks for itself, and even though she has tried to be cryptic and not reveal  much, her seal of approval is more than obvious.

We don't know when we will see the two as a couple in real life—with all the secrecy out of the window—but we sure as hell are excited for their reel-life chemistry in their upcoming film Brahmastra!
