9 Times Alia Bhatt's Movie Style Was Totally On-Point

Work it, girl!

Alia's basically always on fleek because she's young, gorgeous and has every designer clamouring to custom-make her sh*t. But it isn't just real lifeAlia IRL who's style is so worth lusting after_it's all the girls she's played in all her films. We curated nine times her characters in films were stylish to the tee.

  1. Shaandaar (2015)Like her character, her look was quirky with a touch of demented–and we loved her fun jackets throughout the film!

2. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014)

There were a series of conflicting opinions on the colour and silhouette risks Alia took in this film, but we like the fact that she took those risks in the first place.

3. Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921)

There was something relaxed and mature about Alia's uber-young character in this film—and her boho-chic wardrobe made a world of difference, adding to her character immensely.

4. Shaandaar (2015)

Exploring her character's quirky side again, we saw cute jumpers like this a lot—the puppy knit into and the off-shoulder both great elements to work in.

5. Kapoor & Sons (2016):

This particular look became the most iconic one from the film, setting the mood for the rich-girl hippe vibe Alia would have through the film.

6. 2 States (2014)

One of the films that allowed her the maximum closet-range, we see Alia her in everything from saris to teensy denim shorts–and she does them all quite nicely.

8. Student of the Year (2012)

For someone with an extremely modern-esque face (and body language to match) Alia did traditional Indian clothes (with skimp + glam factor added) pretty well in this otherwise ludicrous film.

9. Shaandaar (2015)

This look, in our opinion, takes the cake_because it take a lot to pull off a suit-mustache combo with panache and still looking super-feminine doing it.
