Karan Johar Was Moved to Tears By Alia Bhatt's Work In Kalank

Of all the iconic Bollywood friendships, one that has truly grown stronger over the past couple of years is that of Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. The two are always seen hanging out at events and parties, and KJo is known to favour Alia for many of his films.

Alia is currently shooting for Kalank, another Dharma production, and although everything is super secret and under wraps, Karan recently spoke about how Alia's work moved him. "I saw something that Alia had done in Kalank and I was just so moved by the work she had done," he said.

The director-producer went on to say how he views her as his daughter. "I won't disclose what it is (but) she has done something in the film. You know when I see Alia I get that feeling like I'm seeing my daughter perform. And because I have that emotion for her I just started crying in the end for some weird reason. I'm going through something internally which I'm not aware of and I just got very teary. And I rang her up and said her I got very emotional, well done," he said.

Awwww, isn't that the sweetest? We can't wait to see more about the film now!
