Known as ‘walk shorts or dress shorts’, the shorts got their name due to their popularity in Bermuda. "A knotted tee, a tie-front shirt, a structured or fitted top, a body suit, or even an over-sized tee will go well with this kind of shorts," says Sanam.
Paper bag waist shorts: Typically worn high at the waist, paper bag waist shorts paired with a fitted t-shirt or tank top creates a cool casual look. Pair the shorts with fitted button-down blouse to create an office- appropriate look, suggests Sanam.
Biker shorts: They are much more than cycling shorts. "One can wear them with an oversized blazer or a colourful slip dress or crew-neck t-shirts and sneakers to create a stylish yet trendy look," says Sanam.

Skorts: Skorts are another good choice for a virtual date or a casual virtual meet up with your bffs. Sanam recommends pairing skorts with a fitted graphic tee or a tank top to create a chic feminine look.
Boyfriend shorts: How we have all missed chilling this summer! These shorts can help create the chilled-out, chic bohemian look. You can wear the shorts with a white tee and black blazer, if your boss calls for an impromptu video meeting with the team.
Mom-shorts: There are so many ways to style mom shorts. "One can go all out with colours, patterns and styles. For an interesting evening look, team them up with a shirt or a swimsuit or a bralette.
Dad shorts: Like Bermuda shorts, these shorts can be paired with a shirt or a tee or an oversized top or a blazer, if you want a semi-formal look.
Cargo shorts: These shorts are quite eye catching and can be paired with bright coloured tops! You can jazz up the look with simple accessories and sneakers, suggests Sanam.
Board shorts: These shorts are quite comfortable to lounge in or a day by the pool. Style them with tank tops or t-shirts for a casual, laid-back look.
