In what might look like the crowds at a Black Sabbath concert, goth girls are out to dominate (pun intended) in 2022, dressed from head-to-toe in leather, corsets and lace, all doused on a healthy dose of black. Mention the word goth, and we are instantly transported to Y2K memories of punk-rock, the Addams Family and Evanescence music videos. While it fell off the fashion radar since then, come 2022, the goth aesthetic is back taking over fashion week runways, red carpets and celebrity street style looks. More grunge and less punk, goth is no longer as radical as it once was, and can be mixed in to our outfits as seperates, a head-to-toe aesthetic or by donning edgy accessories. From Sara Ali Khan to Kim Kardashian, scroll down for a celebrity style book on how to wear the look.
