Mars in Libra Shows You Who Your Real Friends Are

Even though Libra season is officially here, Mars, planet of action, has still been in Virgo, keeping everyone working hard despite Libra season’s typically light and airy vibes. That’s all changing on October 4, though, when Mars enters Libra! Finally, work goes down on your list of priorities and you have actual free time again! Air signs Libra, Gemini, and Aquarius feel the most positive effects of this transit, while cardinal signs Aries, Capricorn, and Cancer have a more tense time now.

Here’s the tea re: Mars in Libra—it's not the easiest spot for Mars to be in. Mars is Aries’ planetary homie, and since Libra is the opposite sign of Aries, things can feel a lil off for some time. The main difference is Aries is all about personal ambition (which aligns perfectly with Mars being the planet of assertion), while Libra is all about relationships. Aka, the best way to get sh*t done right now is by working on a team, not alone. This is helpful for learning how to take others into consideration when you’re trying to accomplish something, but if you’re more of the independent type (*ahem* fire signs) this lesson in compromising has a steep learning curve.

This six-week period is perfect for learning how to cooperate better with others and lean on the people you trust the most.

Another reason why working with others is so useful now is because of Libra’s classic indecisiveness. Mars channeling these vibes makes it so you have a hard time figuring out what you want to do, how you want to do it, when to do it… you get the picture. If you can move with intention and reach out to other people, you can get a ton of insight from them, helping you get closer to achieving your goals. Above all else, this six-week period is perfect for learning how to cooperate better with others and lean on the people you trust the most.

The biggest thing to look out for is how likely you are to just argue on and on about everything. Mars is the planet of action, sure, but it’s also the planet of aggression. It’s easy for you to end up caught in an endless back-and-forth with someone because you’re both refusing to see each other’s side. Just by being mindful and making a point of meeting people in the middle, you can save yourself from tons of drama. Luckily, Libra is well known for its diplomatic skills, so it’s not that hard to figure out a compromise!

Mars in Libra isn’t always an easy breezy time, NGL, but you can definitely use it to your advantage! By the end of it all, you can have stronger relationships, a better understanding of others’ POV, broaden your own perspectives, and feel like a more balanced, well-rounded person! Which is great, considering how much of how emotionally messy Scorpio season can get. ?
