Ravindra Gupta, Professor working on a functional HIV cure
Ravindra Gupta successfully cured Adam Castellejo ( known as the London Patient), making him the second person in this world to have been cured of HIV. In recognition of his work, last year the University of Cambridge appointed him professor of clinical microbiology at the Cambridge Institute of Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Disease.
