These Illustrations Will Make You Love Your Body Just As It Is...

Frances Cannon's illustrations challenge the taboos about female body around the world.

There are so many taboos surrounding women and our bodies, be it related to menstruation, sex or our body shapes, and more often than not, we're made to feel less if we're not set in a 'perfect' mould defined by the society.

Frances Cannon's illustrations, for an adult colouring book, are aimed to celebrate women and their bodies and enable women to love themselves as they are.

"I feel that because my drawings have a certain element of innocence and playfulness, they are able to tackle more controversial subjects (like periods) more smoothly and with less of the "that's so gross" comments (though those still happen too)," she said in an interview with Dazed Digital.
