Adulthood for you means doing responsible things like eating sensible protein like eggs for breakfast, because your childhood probably happened in the days before sugar was evil, and you could fill your breakfast bowl with as many cartoon cereals as your heart desired.
But that doesn't mean you can't still occasionally indulge in your favorite breakfast foods. Just call them what they really are and eat them for dessert!
My suggestion is to try this homemade Pop-Tart ice cream sandwich. You make the toaster pastry, top it with your favorite cereal, add ice cream, and you've got a major sweet treat waiting for you to devour it.

To make the pastry, take a piece of pie crust and roll it out to make a more rectangular shape. Square off the edges, then cut the crust into eight rectangles.
Spoon strawberry jam onto half the rectangles, then top those with the other four rectangles, crimping the edges of the dough with a fork.
Put the pastries onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a 425-degree oven for about 7 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown.
Now, make the icing: Mix together 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and a few drops of red food coloring. Once the pastries have cooled, drizzle the icing on top, then sprinkle Fruity Pebbles over the icing.
Once the icing has set, top one pastry with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, followed by the marshmallows. Sandwich with another pastry and enjoy!
