After returning from her friend Sejal Kumar's wedding, Mira stated that her skin needed a 'pick me up'. To pamper her skin and provide it with the nourishing ingredients it craved, she whipped up a quick-fix DIY mask comprising of solely two components—rose water and kasturi manjal. Easy and safe-to-apply, try it at home!
In another video she posted on Instagram, Mira shared a few homemade DIY recipes for skin care as well as hair care. Elaborating on the anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties of turmeric, she spoke at length about preparing a natural face mask for glowing, smooth skin, and a hair mask to tackle 'baby hair'.
The DIY beauty solutions she suggested are as follows:
1. Honey and Turmeric Face Mask: “Honey, as you all know, is a natural humectant and it is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. I like to use it for when I have zits or muddy looking skin that is not looking fresh,” she said. “Because the haldi doesn't totally dissolve in the honey, it is granular, which breaks down all the dead skin cells and leaves the skin 'supple and healthy'," she added.
2. Raw Milk Toner: "I like to use 3 tablespoons of milk and rose water. I have seen my mom putting raw milk on her face since I was young. It was her remedy for everything, whether it was a sunburn, an uneven tan...she used to do this every morning," informed Mira.
3. Basil Anti-acne Spot Treatment: "I figured this hack out when I was facing PCOS-like acne conditions. It is going to settle, reducing the redness and the bump," she said.
4. A Glow-Boosting 4-Step Facial: "“My kids love looking at me when I have this mask on, they get a really good laugh!"
The celebrity shared another DIY glow-up routine using ingredients such as gutti ka khal and markalak clay.
