20 Major Models Who Just Happen to Have Majorly Famous Parents

Lifestyles of the rich, famous, and genetically blessed.

Well, it's finally happened: model has usurped DJ/socialite as the go-to career of choice for children of the rich, famous, and really, really good looking). Below, 20 models/former models who just happen to have A-List parents, not that their heritage necessarily helped them in the industry (OK, it probably did though). Don't hate them just because they're genetically privileged!

1. Kaia Gerber

Parents: Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber

When your mom is a member of the '90s #squad that put the "super" in "supermodel" (Naomi, Kate, Linda, Christy, Cindy are OGs, OK?), it's only a matter of time before the fashion world is salivating over you. Case in point: Kaia Gerber, daughter of the aforementioned Cindy, as in Crawford, who modeled in her first campaign for Versace Kids at 11. Yes, at the age the rest of us were discovering angsty YA fiction and fretting about our first period, Kaia was modeling designer street wear. By the tender age of 13, she'd featured in Teen Vogue and CR Fashion Book; she's 14 now, and signed to IMG Models, home of Gigi, Bella (more on them later) and Karlie Kloss.

2. Sailor Brinkley-Cook

Parents: Christy Brinkley and Peter Cook

But on the flipside, maybe, when your mom is an ageless, all-American beauty icon, following in her footsteps may be a little intimidating. Luckily Sailor had all the family support in the world (and those killer genetics) — mom has posed with her for magazine covers, and was the voice of reason when Sailor began to feel pressure to lose weight. Her Seventeen magazine spread officially announced her arrival on the scene; now her brother Jack is also in the mix, posing with Sailor for a Hamptons-chic Town & Country spread.

3. Lily-Rose Depp

Parents: Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis

For years, Johnny and Vanessa kept their children Lily-Rose and Jack out of sight — preferring to raise them in France, a country with strict paparazzi laws. But now that Lily-Rose is in her teens, she's ready to take a turn in the spotlight, which started at her mother's home base: Chanel. A million wannabe posers would kill to get near one of the label's classic quilted handbags, but Lily-Rose simply has to call up Uncle Karl and voilà: she's starring in a campaign. (It's no surprise that Karl adores her; her quintessentially French mother Vanessa has been his muse for years.) She also just landed a cover of LOVE magazine, which is maj. And Lily-Rose has also taken to her parents' other vocations; she featured on her mom's album, Bliss, when she was a petit bébé, and has a role in the upcoming film, Kevin Smith's Yoga Hosers, alongside her father and childhood friend, Hayley Quinn Smith, daughter of, you guessed it, writer/director Kevin Smith. It's like a nepotism merry-go-round.

4. & 5. Jaden and Willow Smith

Parents: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith

Modeling is just one slice of the Smith kids Renaissance life — they act (Karate Kid, The Pursuit of Happyness, I Am Legend, etc., etc.), sing, think deep thoughts, and tweet with aplomb. Jaden is a face of Louis Vuitton's new campaign and recently teamed up with family friend Kendall for a '90s-inspired Vogue shoot, while Willow has posed for i-D magazine and a Marc Jacobs campaign. They are no stranger to the world of red carpets either, but judging by their Insta captions, seem more interested in the space/time continuum than the latest fashion trends.

6. & 7. Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham

Parents: David and Victoria Beckham

Papa David is literally the Sexiest Man Alive, an impossibly handsome standard to live up to, right? Well, not if your last name is Beckham. His and fashionista Victoria's oldest two boys, Brooklyn and Romeo, have already turned their genetic jackpot into dreamy careers. Brooklyn is an Insta-star with 4+ million followers to his name, as well as a Miss Vogue cover (among others), while little bro Romeo is an ever-adorable face of British label Burberry. Our inner 13-year-old is crushing hard, and let's not count Cruz out of the running yet either.

Bonus: Harper is already charming Anna Wintour on the front row at fashion week (unlike some of her fellow celeb toddlers, it should be noted).

8. & 9. Gigi and Bella Hadid

Parents: Yolanda Foster and Mohamed Hadid

We first glimpsed this ridiculously beautiful family on Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but the Hadid kids have since broken out way beyond reality TV's boundaries — fast-forward a few seasons and the Hadid sisters are two of the most sought-after models in the world. They've have conquered Vogue, Sports Illustrated, Seventeen, and more, and have worked with the industry's biggies: Balmain, Topshop, Tom Ford, and Moschino, to name just a few.  Did we mention the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and Gigi's relationship with ZAYN MALIK?

Oh, and little brother Anwar has officially entered the family business with a spread in Nylon.

10. Kendall Jenner

Parents: Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, DUH

Kendall actually has a strong connection to #squad member Gigi in a very "new normal" kind of way: Gigi's stepfather, David Foster, was married to Linda Thompson, the second wife of Kendall's father Caitlyn. But back to Kendall in her own right, and her modeling career specifically, which is entering modern-day supermodel territory. She's parlayed her reality TV last name into the Millennial American dream, even though she technically dropped it and went just by "Kendall" as a new face (she's also said, if anything, her fame worked against her starting out). A list of her big-stakes fashion gigs: working with Victoria's Secret, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Chanel, Donna Karan, DVF, Tommy Hilfiger,Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain, and fashion magazines left, right, and center. I guess when your last name is Kardashian, your first job can't exactly be at the local Calabasas Starbucks.

P.S. Oh and don't worry, sister Kylie gets shout-outs too for her spot in last season's sisterhood-themed Balmain campaign, as well as that recent fresh-faced Vogue spread.

11. North West

Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

OK, so she may be the youngest model on our list, but you wouldn't know it by her couture wardrobe and all-access pass to the hottest fashion shows in the world (even if she doesn't always enjoy them). Despite her occasional protestations, the usual toddler sartorial choices — Dora tees, loud prints, and rubber boots — don't fly in a family hopelessly devoted to tonal dressing. I mean, she wears Balmain to her ballet classes! Nori made her editorial debut in Vogue less than a year after her birth, and has also drooled on modeled Chanel for the prestigious CR Fashion Book.

12. Hailey Baldwin

Parents: Stephen and Kennya Baldwin

Hailey's star is steadily on the rise, much to the chagrin of a certain fandom that inundates her Insta feed with way harsh comments. The former prima ballerina has fashion campaigns, a slew of big-name runway shows under her belt (Topshop, Moschino, and Tommy Hilfiger), editorials in uber-cool fashion magazines like Wonderland, and a ton of attention on her personal life, particularly her very close friendship with Justin Bieber, who recently gushed to i-D magazine, "Hailey, isn't she just the best, ever?" Down, Beliebers.

13. Rafferty Law

Parents: Jude Law and Sadie Frost

Rafferty's social pedigree is wild, having grown up surrounded by the legendary West London Primrose Hill set, which included his mom, model/designer/actress/socialite Sadie Frost, Stella McCartney, Kate Moss, and of course dad Jude. Young Rafferty made his debut on the catwalk for DKNY Menswear and has been working steadily ever since — case in point the Tiger of Sweden campaign and Teen Vogue spread pictured above. Oh, and he's just turned 19. His Insta feed is a veritable "boy about London" buffet filled with photos from film premieres, glam parties and, in a marked difference from most other models his age, plenty of museums.

14. Zoë Kravitz

Parents: Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet

Think being cool AF skips a generation? Not when it comes to the Bonet/Kravitz fam. The only child of the dreamy marriage that was Lenny and Lisa's, Zoe had a nomadic and glamorous lifestyle growing up (I mean, have you ever woken up to Ashton Kutcher making omelets? Not you, Mila Kunis, but the rest of us). She began her modeling career in a campaign for Vera Wang's Princess perfume, and has since gone on to work with Alexander Wang and jewelry designer Alexis Bittar. She is a fashion favorite, often spotted at high-profile events like the Met Gala with her parents, and has turned her attention to acting in films like Mad Max: Fury Road and the Divergent franchise, when she isn't fronting her band, Lolawolf.

15. Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis

Parents: Daniel Day-Lewis and Isabelle Adjani

Daniel Day-Lewis has a sexy Draco Malfoy look going on with his bleach-blond hair; avada kedavra it's just too much G-K. (Also, he's working thick dark eyebrows that would give Cara Delevingne a run for her trend-setting money.) Gabriel-Kane has already walked for Chanel, well, sort of — he accompanied Oscar winner Julianne Moore into the Grand Palais for the fall Chanel show. Look, the cheekbones, OK? He's also a budding musician (the other time-worn pursuit of celebrity offspring) and, it should be noted, recently told Teen Vogue he plans to make that his real-deal career.

16. Dylan Brosnan

Parents: Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith

Dylan has the teen dream thing down pat, showing off his delicately freckled face in a campaign for Saint Laurent — the label's designer, Hedi Slimane, scouted him on a Malibu beach. The film student and musician has some serious off-duty model street style: He's often photographed looking painfully cool in black skinny jeans and motorcycle boots, and the occasional chipped manicure. Yes, you spotted him in a Vogue editorial with Karlie Kloss recently, also.

17. Devon Aoki

Parents: Hiroaki "Rocky" Aoki and Pamela Hilburger

Daughter of the founder of the Benihana restaurant chain, at the age of 14, Devon was introduced to Kate Moss by a family friend. Her modeling career quickly heated up; by 16, she had contracts with Chanel and Versace and was jet-setting around the globe as the "It" face of the minute. Seriously, look at it. Over a decade and three children later, she is still stunning, and still booking campaigns here and there, like the fishy Kenzo one above. Still, these days you are more likely to catch a glimpse of her on Insta rather than in a magazine; she has considerably slowed down her acting and modeling career since the mid-'00s.

18. Georgia May Jagger

Parents: Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall

So your dad is a rock legend and your mum is a model and actress … chances are you aren't looking to study botany or become an air traffic controller (more power to you if you are though). Georgia May's life as a model seems to be written in the stars — the stars being her parents, obvi — and she's headed campaigns for Chanel's Cruise collection, H&M and, like fellow Brit Kate Moss, Rimmel London

19. Patrick Schwarzenegger

Parents: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver

While we may know him as the college dude Miley dated for a hot minute, Patrick has been "L.A. famous" thanks to his bold-name parents for years. He's got Kennedy blood, spent much of his childhood with his father in the governor's office, and his mother is an accomplished and beloved journalist and author. Fame comes naturally to this family, and Patrick has already had some lessons in how to weather a massive public scandal (no, not the body shots in Mexico, we mean his father's secret love child). His strapping good looks can veer into beefcake territory, but he was downright pretty in the Tom Ford eyewear campaign he starred in with Gigi Hadid. Next up: YA movie Midnight Sun with Bella Thorne

20. Margaret Qualley

Parents: Andie MacDowell and Paul Qualley

If you think there's something familiar about Margaret Qualley's high cheekbones and enviable hair, you are right; she's seemed to inherit all the right things from her model/actress mother, Andie MacDowell. Just hitting her 20s, Margaret is on her third career: She was a ballerina until the age of 15, then a model (for Chanel, Valentino and Alberta Ferretti; she also appeared in a Teen Vogue feature), and now, an actress on HBO's The Leftovers.
