#Vickat and #Victrina fans were thrilled when rumours regarding the couple's alleged engagement began doing the rounds on Wednesday. According to speculations, the couple were soon going to have a Roka ceremony, preceded by a formal engagement. However, Katrina Kaif's team was quick to put all the baseless rumours to rest, upsetting fans who have been rooting for this celebrity relationship.
The two A-listers have been rumoured to be dating ever since 2019 after they were spotted together on what seemed to be a dinner date. In fact, during an episode of Karan Johar's talk show Koffee With Karan in 2018, Katrina admitted that she would look good with Vicky Kaushal on screen. Ever since the couple have been caught spending time together—at movie screenings, award shows, and industry get-togethers. However, neither of the two have confirmed the status of their relationship.
Recently, on Zoom's By Invite Only, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor seemingly confirmed that the actors are dating. He said, "Vicky and Katrina are together, that's true. Am I going to get in trouble for saying this? I don't know. I think they're quite open about it." But as speculations about their engagement gained steam, Katrina's spokesperson responded, "There has been no Roka ceremony. She is leaving for Tiger 3 shoot soon."
Most recently, Vicky and Katrina were spotted together at the screening of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's biographical war film, Shershaah. However, the two didn't step out together after the film was over. Katrina stepped out with her sister Isabella Kaif, while Vicky stepped out alone. On the work front, Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Aditya Dhar's The Immortal Ashwatthama. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif has a few projects lined up, including Sooryavanshi, Phone Bhoot, and Jee Le Zaraa, a road trip film alongside Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt that was recently announced.
