Priyanka Chopra's Future Father-In-Law, Paul Kevin Jonas, Has Filed for Bankruptcy

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made their relationship official with a roka ceremony last month. 

Nick's parents, Kevin and Denise Jonas also flew to Mumbai to attend the ceremony. The Jonas family seemed really happy with this union, and their Instagram posts prove just that. 

Unfortunately, not long after this happy occasion Nick's father Kevin Jonas had to file for bankruptcy. The reason for this step is that one of his companies is in a debt of $1 million, which includes a case that the company lost and has to pay a compensation of $268,000 for. 

Nick—whose net worth is $25 Million— and his brothers are super-successful entertainers and can handle this financial crisis easily. However, everyone wondered if this setback would impact Priyanka and Nick's wedding. 

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Priyanka's friend shared that the wedding plans will not be stalled due to this situation. "I am not saying that PeeCee is getting married anytime soon. But whatever the couple’s plans for the future are, they will remain unaffected by Nick’s dad’s financial status. The insolvency case involves a long-ailing business concern that the family has decided to shut down. Nick and his brothers are more than capable of shouldering the financial responsibilities, if and when required," said Priyanka’s friend.
