Guess Who Deepika Padukone Considers Her Role Model?!

Deepika Padukone is riding the wave of success with Padmaavat breaking all sorts of records. And this victory seems sweeter than ever because of all the controversies that the whole team of this movie had to face. Deepika has played several memorable roles in her career but the portrayal of Queen Padmavati will always be counted as her finest work.

When a leading daily asked her about the future plans, she said," The only way to go is ahead. Sometimes, you need to pause, think and reflect. But the endeavor is always to move forward. I have no idea how it is going to unfold. "

She added, "There is a difference between pausing and stopping. I feel it is important to pause, think, reflect and then move on. Hopefully, there is only one way to go in life, which is moving forward. In times like these (while experiencing massive success), what my parents have always taught me 'It is great to celebrate these time, but not for too long'".

The actor shares a special bond with her parents and her younger sister, Anisha.

In one of the interviews, Deepika spoke about her father. She said, "His radiance reflects in his personality. Since my team stays in touch with dad regarding my work, they always talk about him and say, 'How cute is your father'. He is such a humble person and there is so much goodness in him that it all radiates. I don't think my sister, Anisha and I could have asked for a better role model than him."

On the work front, Deepika's next project, a movie directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, has been delayed as both the lead actors, Deepika and Irrfan Khan are down with health issues. Deepika's back injury that occured during the shoot of Padmaavat has resurfaced. She is currently taking a break from work.
