Celebrity Makeup Artists Tell You How to Take The Best Selfie Ever!

All the makeup know-how to update your gram...

Looking to update your Insta feed or just to up your selfie game? Well, we spoke to some celebrity beauty experts to know all about how to take a bomb selfie sans any filters!

The key to a good selfie is all about having bold eye makeup while leaving the rest of the face au natural. So, here's what they have to say:

"Eye makeup is a very basic yet a significant part of any makeup look. It instantly grabs attention, enhancing one’s natural beauty. I think it’s very important to keep the eyelids prepped, with moisturizer and primer. Next step would be to select softer browns and more natural shades of eyeshadow and use a nice shadow brush to apply it across your eyes. Use a flatter brush to take the colour down to brush under your water line for that smudge effect. This followed by a touch of eyeliner on the lash line and finally build it up with loads of mascara to finish off a great eye," says celebrity makeup artist Stafford Braganza, who's also the national makeup artist for L'Oréal Paris, India.

Meanwhile, celebrity makeup artist Agrika Kalra says, "For the perfect selfie you need to focus on amping up your eye makeup tricks. Here are my suggestions:
Step one is to prep your crease with brown eyeshadow. Then, fill your eyelid area with a natural skin tone eyeshadow such as beige or neutral tones. Finally, brush some matte highlighter on your browbone and finish it up with a liner of your choice."
