Here's How to Give Your Cheeks that Natural Blush

What do you do for that blush on your cheeks? Pat some blush, before you head out? What if you could ditch that blush and found a natural way to make your cheeks look rosy pink? Sounds a little hard to believe but it’s true. There are several ways in which you can achieve this but right nutrition will give you long lasting results. Nutritionist Aakriti Arora says, “By adding this miracle beetroots, berries and carrots (BBC) juice along with making small changes in your diet and lifestyle you can get that natural blush on your cheeks.”

So how does BBC juice help?

Beetroot is considered to be anti-ageing, anti acnegenic, skin brightening antioxidant and it also possess anti-inflammatory properties. It has a high content of vitamin C & zinc content. “Beets contain belatins and betaine that offer powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and vascular-protective effects that also helps with brain function, heart health and improved exercise performance”, says Aakriti.

The other ingredient, berries contain high amounts of antioxidants like anthocyanins, which reduces the free radical damage in the skin hells and slows the ageing process. They also have high amounts of fibre which takes care of your gut health and bowel movements, keeping you fresh and glowing all day. Rich in copper, folate and vitamin K, berries also help to calm down the inflammation in the body thus keeping acne at bay. Ellagic acid, which is found in almost all the berries, reduce the appearance of fine lines and tightens the skin from within.

Carrots help make this juice the ultimate beauty potion. Carrot has vitamin C and beta carotene, two antioxidants that protect your skin from ultraviolet (UV) damage and pigmentation. Vitamin C is necessary for the production of collagen, which strengthens skin. Carrots also have vitamin A and K which improve eye health and boost your immune system in the long run.
