Kim K just made ‘jawline sculpt-wear’ a thing—and no, it’s not from a sci-fi movie.

Kim Kardashian's SKIMS has launched a new kind of shapewear—for your face

We can always count on Kim Kardashian to give us something controversial, whether it's her trying to squeeze into Marilyn Monroe's dress from 1962 or launching a bra with built-in nipples for added perkiness. Her latest launch is not exactly controversial, but still interesting enough to stir up conversation. Make way for the SKIMS Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap, a sleek little number that promises a sharp jawline, a lifted neck, and just enough collagen magic to fake a full night's sleep.

At first glance, the wrap reminds us of the creepy sci-fi characters from '70s Hollywood movies. But looks aside, the concept behind the wrap is actually genius, so much so that it may just give your gua-sha some serious competition. Calling it the “first-ever face innovation”, the face wrap is made with a signature sculpting fabric, infused with collagen yarns. It taps perfectly into the face-sculpting trend that's everywhere right now. And with velcro fasteners around the neck, it's giving glam sci-fi headband that promises to lift, snatch, and shape. But does it deliver?

The internet is clearly polarised. Available in muted tones like clay and cocoa, the face wrap—touted as the “must-have addition to your nightly routine”—dropped on Tuesday and was already sold out by Wednesday, thanks to SKIMS fans who don’t skip a beat. But while some are all in, others have raised eyebrows, questioning whether it plays into outdated beauty ideals. A few even pointed out its uncanny resemblance to medical compression gear, sparking a whole new debate around the “healing chic” aesthetic.

Our final verdict

Will the sculpting face wrap bring eternal youth, or is it just a beauty trend that’s gone a little too far? It does make us wonder if we should really be turning even our wind-down, beauty-sleep hours into another step in the pursuit of youthful skin? While the product is said to be safe to wear and likely has some research behind it, most experts agree that while a tight garment like this might help reduce puffiness temporarily, it’s unlikely to offer any long-term results.

This trend feels like a mix of beauty, wellness, and a dash of spectacle. And, as with anything Kardashian-adjacent, you can’t help but ask: will the product truly deliver, or is it the hype—and the ever-devoted fanbase—that’s driving the obsession (and our beauty standards)?
