One of the controversial comments made by Deepika Padukone where she said she wanted to check Katrina Kaif's passport , is something the industry and fans have still not forgotten. Deepika was freshly out of her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor who was allegedly cheating on her with Katrina Kaif. While most people thought Deepika was trying to age-shame her by saying, "Can I see your passport," another report online suggests it had nothing to do with KK's age!

As per a Mid-Day report, Deepika was hinting about a trip Katrina took to the U.S. to see Ranbir when he was shooting for Anjaana Anjaani opposite Priyanka Chopra, at that time. So, this hints that Deepika wanted to see the immigration stamps on Katrina's passport to see if Katrina had in fact traveled to the States to see her then boyfriend, Ranbir.
