“I took to the theatre while I was studying engineering. I even worked as an engineer for a short while, but found myself missing being on stage and performing. So I quit my job and moved to Mumbai. I didn’t know how exactly I was going to go about it, or for how long, so I just decided to go with the flow. It has been a few years now and I’m still here! It has definitely been an eventful journey...which has taken me from theatre to ads, to films and now to web shows. But if not bitten by the acting bug, who knows, maybe I would have continued with my job. There’s a high probability that I could have even had my own start-up, or joined a friend’s (a lot of my friends were starting their own ventures around that time). When not in front of the camera, I think I am a lot of different people at once, and I like it like that! I am constantly evolving. I don’t like to put myself in a box...I believe that when you try to define yourself in words, you end up restricting yourself. So, I let other people decide what kind of person they think I am.”
