12 Bollywood Celebrities You Didn’t Know Went to School Together

From BFF's Alia Bhatt and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor to co-stars Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor, these celebs who went to school together have come a long way.

Whoever said that 'school days are the best days of our lives', wasn't lying. Perhaps—in these initial years—one derives pleasure from the simpler things, finds it easier to forgive and forget, and doesn't over-complicate matters that don't require too much thought.

While many of us often lose touch with old friends later in life, some B-town biggies have managed to maintain long-standing relationships with their colleagues who also happen to be their schoolmates. You'd probably already be aware that Karan Johar and Twinkle Khanna went to boarding school together, however, here are a few other celebs who you couldn't have guessed have known each other for years!

Aamir Khan and Salman Khan

Did you know that the two biggest stars of Bollywood went to school together? They were apparently in the same class at St Anne's school, in Pali Hill.

Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha

Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha are ex-students of Arya Vidya Mandir school in Mumbai. While the two weren't the best of friends back then, they have worked in the movie 'Tevar', opposite each other.

Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor

The 'Baaghi' stars go back a long way! The two went to Cathedral and John Connon School, and Tiger reportedly had a crush on Shraddha during the time. However, he could never muster the courage to confess it to her.

Alia Bhatt and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor—who played the role of Tanu Kumar in 'Guilty'—has been superstar Alia Bhatt's bestie since childhood. The two went to Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and have managed to uphold their friendship as they make their mark in the industry.

Twinkle Khanna and Karan Johar

Twinkle Khanna and Karan Johar have known each other since their boarding school days in New Era High School, Panchgani. In fact, the former went on to reveal that Karan Johar was apparently in love with her at that point of time.

Anushka Sharma and Sakshi Dhoni

Besides having cricketer husbands in common, the two girls attended school together at some point in their lives—St Mary's School, Margherita. While Sakshi resided in a small town in Assam, Anushka had moved there temporarily as her father worked in the Indian army and was often required to relocate.
