Th 33-year-old Rihanna is one of the biggest youth icons of our times. The name conjures up so many more images than just the biggest pop star of the planet. Her stake in in the company, along with a 30% stake in the lingerie line Savage X Fenty and the money she earned in her 16-year career as a pop star, take Rihanna’s fortune to $1.7bn, according to Forbes.

The singer has expressed in several of her interviews that she was driven to create a beauty brand that provided solutions to a variety of skin tones and types. The brand brought out foundation in 40 different shades when it first launched and has since increased the number to 50.
