The Emily in Paris star, 32, wed her fiancée Charlie McDowell, 38, in Dunton, Colorado, over the weekend. The actor took to Instagram to share the wonderful news, and said, "I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other's forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell."

McDowell also posted photographs from the intimate wedding and captioned it: "I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I’ve ever known. I love you @lilyjcollins." Collins commented on his post, "I'm so excited to be your WIFEY."

Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell were first linked in 2019. In August of the same year, Collins shared a few snaps of the two in France while she was filming Netflix's Emily in Paris, making them Instagram-official. And in September last year, they announced their engagement on social media. Sharing pictures from the proposal, Lily wrote, "I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together..."

The actor's engagement ring, a rose-cut diamond with a bezel setting and thin gold band is one of a kind, according to a representative of Irene Neuwirth, who created the piece.

In December, during an interview with Page Six, the actor revealed how the pandemic has strengthened their bond. "Quarantine has made and broken up a lot of people, but the time together just solidified what we already knew about each other. Everyone has very much been who they are these last few months because there aren’t any external distractions. We’re all really getting back to the core of who we are without the layers of society. When you’ve seen someone at their best and their worst and you’re still right there with them, that’s a beautiful thing," she put forth.

Lily and Charlie had an intimate, nature-inspired wedding amidst a picturesque waterfall in Dunton Hot Springs, a tiny huddle of log buildings that sits at 8,600 feet on the West Fork of the Dolores River in the San Juan Mountains, in the Southwest corner of Colorado. It's a 19th-century ghost town that has been restored and turned into a luxury resort. Sharing another photograph of herself and her husband amidst the waterfall, Lily wrote, "What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality. I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start…"

For the nuptials, Lily Collins wore a long-sleeved hooded lace gown designed by Ralph Lauren. The form-fitting gown had a high neckline and was covered in lace from head to toe. Rob Zangardi, a fashion stylist and costume designer, styled Collins for the big day. It is one of the few wedding dresses that the brand has designed, along with Priyanka Chopra's.
