Arjun Kapoor Shuts Down Breakup Rumours With Malaika Arora With An Instagram Post

Has the celebrity couple of four years parted ways? Here's the truth.

Once again, rumours are rife! Speculations regarding Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora's split have been doing the rounds on the internet, concerning fans about their relationship status. While the duo recently returned from their tropical getaway to the Maldives, a media portal has reported that Malaika hasn't stepped out of her home in over six days due to the couple's alleged breakup.

According to the report, "she is so broken from the breakup, that she has gone into isolation." What also raised eyebrows was when Arjun Kapoor attended an intimate dinner at sister Rhea Kapoor's residence, for which he wasn't accompanied by his lady love. That said, another report by ETimes suggests that Malaika stepped down to walk her dog, Casper, a few days ago, and the real reason why she isn't spotted on the streets of the city—with or without her beau—is because of the recent surge in coronavirus cases.

Well, there's no need to speculate any longer because the man, himself, has spoken. The Ki & Ka actor took to Instagram to quell breakup rumours with a picture. Take a look:

"Ain’t no place for shady rumours. Stay safe. Stay blessed. Wish well for people. Love y’all," he wrote. In the comments section, Malaika Arora dropped a ❤️ emoji, with several other celebrities applauding the star for putting speculations to rest. "YES! You guys ❤️," wrote Tara Sutaria, along with many others, including Athiya Shetty and Bhumi Pednekar.

Relationship rumours first sparked in 2018, after they were spotted leaving each other's house several times. While the couple initially denied their courtship, over time, they began posting pictures together on social media and made public appearances as a pair. However, it wasn't until Arjun's birthday in 2019 that they made their relationship Instagram-official. According to reports, the two began dating back in 2018 and are deeply in love, four years running.
