Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Tie the Knot in Santa Barbara

After putting a ring on it in October last year, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have—legally, this time around—tied the knot at the courthouse in Santa Barbara, in the company of their close friends and family. Last month, the couple did what seemed to be a 'practice round' by getting hitched at the One Love Wedding Chapel at 2 AM in Las Vegas, officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator, and under the influence of a lil' tequila, the Kardashian confessed. 

Kravis' previous commitment ceremony wasn't legally binding as the pair didn't obtain a marriage license. "They had to legally get married first ahead of their big Italian wedding, which is happening very soon. All the details are set and the whole family, including all the kids, are very excited," an insider told People. The Blink-182 rocker went down on one knee at a beachside hotel in Montecito, Calif, after dating the reality TV star for just short of a year; the magical proposal was captured on camera for The Kardashians, streaming on Disney + Hotstar.

On 9th May, Kris Jenner told People, "If I say one thing about a wedding, I am gonna be in so much trouble," admitting that she has been sworn to secrecy regarding her oldest daughter's big day. As chronicled in the first season of their new reality show, Kourtney and Travis have been trying for a baby as well. "Travis and I want to have a baby," the 43-year-old was heard saying in the reality show's trailer. Kourtney shares sons Mason and Reign and daughter Penelope with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, while Travis and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler have two children, Landon and Alabama, and step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya.

"Kourtney is over the moon and so excited to start this next chapter with Travis. They were excited about this day and are madly in love," a source close to Kourtney told E! News. In the paparazzi shots of the intimate affair, Kourt can be seen wearing a white dress with a sheer veil and gloves, driving off with Travis in a convertible that reads 'Just Married', on the number plate. According to another insider, "Kourtney was not a bridezilla at all. Kourtney was relaxed and laid back about the details. Travis was also involved, but he let Kourtney make most of the decisions and wanted it to be her day." 

Last July, a source close to Kourtney told E! News, "They are head over heels and never experienced love like this. Kourtney is the happiest. Travis adores her and treats her so well. It's very different from her other relationships and all positive."
