Priyanka Chopra Gifts Nick Jonas and Malti Marie Matching, Personalised Sneakers

A daddy day well-spent, indeed.

We're not tearing up—you are. Nick Jonas celebrated his first Father's Day yesterday, and the picture of the daddy-daughter duo is melting our hearts. Nick and baby Malti can be seen donning matching, personalised Vans sneakers that read the initials M M and MM's Dad. "First Father's Day with my little girl. Thank you, @priyankachopra, for the incredible father-daughter sneakers and for making me a daddy. I love you so much," the singer penned in a heartwarming Instagram post.

PeeCee posted the same photograph on social media, and wrote, "Happy 1st Father's Day, my love. To watch you with our little girl is my greatest joy."

It was back in January when the couple announced that they welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy. "We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family," the official statement read. The stars named their firstborn Malti Marie Chopra Jonas to pay homage to their respective mothers, Madhu Malti and Denise Marie. And it wasn't until four days ago—on Priyanka's mom, Madhu Chopra's birthday—that the celebrity shared the first glimpse of her child.

In all the pictures with her newborn, the celebrity mom has chosen to conceal Malti's identity—either keeping her back to the camera or placing an emoji on her face. A month ago, Priyanka Chopra, too, celebrated her first Mother's Day, taking to Instagram to share a heartwarming picture, along with a note. "On this Mother's Day, we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced..."

On the work front, Priyanka recently wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming thriller series, Citadel, which is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video later this year. She will also be seen alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, set to hit the screen in the summer of 2023.
