Kamp like Kim—or should we say glamp? North West turned nine on 15th June, but it wasn't until later that the close-to-teens kid celebrated her birthday with friends at an undisclosed location, out in the wilderness. Mommy of four, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her eldest daughter's camp day, termed 'Camp North', featuring all things luxe; think private jet flying you to the locale, comfy and chic indoors tents, and tubing at the back of a boat.

Kiki took to her Instagram Story to share a few more sneak peeks into the luxury glam getaway she termed "a spooky wilderness-themed birthday party." Northie was accompanied by her group of friends, business partner Tracy Romulus' daughter Ryan, Jessica Simpson's daughter Maxwell Drew, and cousin Penelope Disick. The camping crew posed in matching pyjama sets—some in plaid and some in a custom 'Camp North' print. The girls' were also seen crossing a wooden bridge on a tree-high ropes course, zip-lining, and wakeboarding. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kimmy seemed to have spent her time winning at Gin Rummy and sippin' on wine and coffee with the other moms. She even transformed her private jet, Kim Air, to meet the weekend's spooky, campy vibes. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week, the Skkn founder revealed that the idea for the party stemmed from her daughter's love of special effects makeup. "She does really good wounds and scars; she's really good at it. She was taking classes and so she wanted to have a spooky wilderness-themed birthday party. So I took them out camping in the wilderness," she confessed.

"She wanted it to be really spooky. She wanted mannequin heads, and there was a whole class. She taught her friends how to do special effects, wounds and scars. We took about eight kids—eight girls—and we went camping in the wilderness," the Kardashians star added. On the day of North's 9th birthday, KK took to Instagram to share a series of pictures with her firstborn and penned a heartwarming note that read, "Happy Birthday my baby, my bestie, my everything. There's no one like you! The most honest, creative, silly girl with the best heart. I just love being your mom, So THANK YOU for being on this journey with me. I love you till ♾."
