Unless you've been living under a pop culture rock, you'll know that Disney's live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid just hit cinemas everywhere.
Starring Halle Bailey as Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, the multi-million dollar film is currently the number-one movie in the world right now.
So it makes sense that some of the cast members have headed out to their nearest cinema to check out their work, plus to find out other people's reactions to it.
Over the weekend, the film's leading lady, Halle Bailey, took a trip out to catch a showing, and just like every other punter, made sure she had a huge box of popcorn to see her through.
Of course, being as famous as Bailey is, it wasn't as easy for her to slip under the radar, which meant the 23-year-old had to get her disguise on.
Taking to TikTok to document the high-stakes procedure, Bailey went fully incognito, donning an oversized long black leather jacket, some huge black shades and a face mask. She complimented the look—because why not—with a super cute Y2K baguette bag and some fluffy black sandals.
Miraculously, the disguise seemed to work, as during the video, Bailey passed two excited cinema-goers in the theatre lobby. While they were both taking selfies with The Little Mermaid film poster, they literally had no clue that the real-life Ariel was walking right beside them.
Naturally, viewers of the video took to the comments section to crease over the moment, with one user typing: "Can you imagine not knowing she was there the entire time and seeing this."
Others gushed over how incredible Bailey's portrayal of Ariel was, with many branding her as a real-life Disney Princess.
