Are Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh *Finally* Tying the Knot?!

If there's something that catches the attention of all Bollywood fans in a jiffy, it is celebrity couples and their updates! Be it Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding news breaking the Internet last December, more so because it was such a secret affair, or any speculation about a new duo that is allegedly dating (à la Janhvi Kapoor and Ishan Khattar)—it instantly goes viral.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who have been dating for several years now, but have never openly accepted their relationship, are the next couple on the list, who fans can't wait to witness making it official!

The couple has always remained tight-lipped about any marriage plans. Ranveer had dissed the idea in conversation with India Today, clearly stating, "I don't know where that's coming from, but yes, of course, these are things I think about...As much as I am consumed by work at the moment, these things are on my mind. But there's nothing decisive, as of now."

However, the story according to well-placed insiders as reported by SpotBoyE goes slightly different. DP's parents have allegedly flown down from Bengaluru to Mumbai to meet the couple and finalise a wedding date, at her Prabhadevi residence. Just like Virushka, Ranveer and Deepika wish to follow suit and opt for a destination wedding, which is at a safe distance from the paparazzi. But, looks like Ranveer's parent's seem to think otherwise, and wish to host the celebrations in Delhi and Mumbai, with their relatives.

According to the same source, "The wedding will take place as per South Indian rituals and high profile venues such as Taj Lands End, Four Seasons and St Regis are being considered as the venue. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a grand reception."

What's more, rumour has it that Deepika is already in London, and assembling her trousseau along with Ranveer's parents sans the alleged groom, since he is busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar's next, Gully Boy.

Fans and the media have very often speculated and spread rumours of Ranveer and Deepika's engagement, but looks like this time, it may just be true.
