Selena Gomez Is Out Here Deleting References to Justin Bieber from Her Instagram

• Selena Gomez recently deleted an old Instagram that she posted for her ex Justin Bieber's birthday.
• Justin is now married to Hailey Baldwin, and the couple has had to deal with some backlash over Justin's relationship with Selena.

It feels like it's been forever since Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were dating—I mean, he's currently fully married to another woman (see: Hailey Baldwin), and Selena's been dealing with issues that have nothing to do with her love life. Which is why it's a little "huh?" that Sel chose to spend her weekend deleting photos of Justin from her Instagram.

It especially feels like weird timing because just a couple of months ago when Justin got into a lil tiff with a fan on Insta who said that he only married Hailey to "get back" at Selena, Justin admitted that he did still love Selena. He wrote, “I absolutely loved and love Selena she will always hold a place in my heart, but I am head over heals [sic] in love with my wife and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has ever happened to me period." And a couple of weeks later, Hailey responded to trolls saying things like she is “second best” to Selena by writing, "You little internet kiddos need to learn how to move on for real. We’re adults that have better things to do than waste time explaining something just so you can stop your delusional fantasies." So yeah, that might have been a strategic time for Selena to distance herself from JB!

However, earlier today a Selena fan account reports that she just took down a photo from last year that she posted for Justin's birthday. In the Insta Selena wrote: "March 1, 1994 someone that I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom."

It's not clear if she deleted every reference to the Biebs from her account (she has like 1,500 pics, so that would be effort) but this seems to be a clear sign that she'd like to be excluded from the Justin Bieber narrative, especially now that he's in it to win it with Hailey.

So basically, it doesn't look like this deletion is due to any drama—just a girl trying to live her best life on Instagram!
