Ranbir Kapoor Says Deepika Padukone Scares Him!

​Talking about keeping things things civil with the ex! Deepika Padukone got high praise from Ranbir Kapoor recently, when he claimed she terrified him with how much she's grown as an actor. He said that she was incredibly "demure and introverted" when he shot Bachna Ae Haseeno with her, and, years later, he saw a totally different person on the sets of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

"She was a very different entity (during Bachna Ae Haseeno) and when I worked with her in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, there was a sudden leap and understanding of cinema and life," Ranbir told the media.

Deepika seems to be pretty full of praise for Ranbir as well. "He is so talented! Working with him makes you a better person—and an actor. He's so good at his work that he makes you look good on screen," said Deepika to the media.

Well, we're all for this new brand of dealing with exes—mutual admiration society style, and we'd like to believe the smiles don't only run skin deep.
