ICYMI, Ron Weasley is on Tinder

​Do you ever wonder what the ​Harry Potter ​characters would be up to these days? I mean, I know they're not real or anything, and that J K Rowling gave us a fair amount of information about how the characters' lives panned out. 

But at the recent ​Celebration of Harry Potter​ event in Orlando, Rupert Grint discussed exactly what he reckons his character, Ron Weasley would be up to these days. Be still, my beating heart.

And it's probably not what you thought.

"I would expect Ron has probably divorced Hermione already," Rupert announced at the press conference, which made us feel simultaneously devastated for the couple, and excited that Ron is totally on the market. I mean, like, if he was real. Oh whatever.

And Rupert continued, saying: "I don't think that relationship would have done very well…He's living on his own, in a little one-bedroom apartment. He hasn't got a job."

Oh, the poor love. Now we wouldn't go that far. But there was one thing we ​could​ foresee, and that's that Ron would definitely have turned to dating apps to find the magical one for him. When a member of the press conference suggested Ron would probably be "on Tinder doing horribly,​" Rupert nodded in agreement. And he knows Ron better than anyone, right?

BRB, just off to King's Cross to swipe near Platform 9 3/4 to see if he might be somewhere within my radius.
