5 Unique Ways to Style a Stole That Will Transform Your Outfit

Accessories can make or break a look — a pair of drop earrings can add a touch of class to your look, and sometimes, the wrong neckpiece can make you look overdone and gaudy. But one accessory that you just can’t go wrong with is the stole. More so, because of its versatility — there are so many ways to style a stole to suit any occasion and any outfit. And if you’re wondering what those styles are, which can totally transform your style statement, we’ve got you covered. Here are five interesting ways in which you never knew you could use a stole:

1. Flyaway Vest

This is a super easy way to amp up the style quotient of a simple outfit. Simply secure both ends of the stole with tight knots and wear it over your t-shirt or tank top like a shrug or kimono.

2. Belted Cape

This is another super easy way to look super chic — simply drape your stole around your neck, spread it out in the front and fasten a belt over it, around your waist.

3. Stole Belt

A new way to use you stole, specially if you’re bored of the usual black and brown belts- tie your stole around your waist and secure with two knots on the side. Preferably choose a funky coloured stole to go with a block-coloured skirt or pants.

4. One Shoulder Drape

A variation of the belted cape, this is one statement that is being used on runways. Drape your stole over one shoulder and fasten a chic belt around your waist to look effortlessly stylish.

5. Braided Scarves

For this, you will need a long stole. Drape it around your neck and tie a loose half-knot with both ends. Take one end and cross it over the other end and pull it under the main loop and then over it. As it’s hanging down, take the opposite side and cross it over the end and pull it up and over. Continue this process till you reach the ends of the stole, which you can tie together and tuck in. Alternatively, you can also take two of your favourite, contrasting scarves and braid them together.

If you’re wondering how to get the best stoles for these styles, look out for Liva, as it offers the right kind of fabric and fall to make you look Insta-ready.
