Hailey Bieber's itsy-bitsy lace bandage mini is a 2010s throwback

The little black dress: a timeless wardrobe staple. But "timeless" doesn't have to be boring - at least not if you ask Mrs. Hailey Bieber. The model and entrepreneur has been giving us some major LBD inspo of late, whether it's a 60s-themed micro-LBD with button detailing and white trim or a seriously fire black negligee dress.

This is part of a major switch-up from her classic clean girl style, which has veered into some sexier and more tongue-in-cheek territory—such as her controversial "nepo baby" slogan tee and cartoon bikini t-shirt dress.

But anyway, back to the LBDs. Hailey has once again given us a masterclass in switching up elegant staples into something a little more risk-taking. Specifically, she was one of the VIPs invited to Lori Harvey's very major 26th birthday party and wore a seriously fire fit to mark the occasion.

While she hasn't yet posted the look on her Instagram grid (or TikTok...we checked) she has shown off her ensemble on her IG Story. Specifically, she was wearing a teensy-tiny black lace mini dress with a huge ruffle bow detail at the front.

She wore her hair in a piecey updo with soft strands of hair framing her face and some mega statement earrings—but it's not the accessories we can't get off our minds atm. Instead, we couldn't help but notice that the form-fitting dress appeared to made from strips of fabric wrapped round Hailey's body with some strategic lacy cutouts. Is this a throwback to the very late aughts, early teens bodycon dress? It looks like it!
