Miley Cyrus's one-legged bodysuit is total rockstar energy

For all the Miley Cyrus fans out there, 2023 started off with a major bang as she announced the release of her forthcoming album Endless Summer Vacation and, since then, has continued to dominate our thoughts and conversations.

There's been her mega-hit single "Flowers" which has spent a whopping six (!) weeks atop the US charts and the rumours that this song contains some not-so subtle (alleged!) shade towards ex Liam Hemsworth.

And to mark this new era in her professional career, Miley has introduced a fresh style persona. Rocking bleached blonde hair with visible dark roots (very indie sleaze) she's been wearing some lust-worthy vintage pieces courtesy of iconic designers like Saint Laurent, Dior, Versace, Gucci and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Her eras of choice appear to be the 1980s and 1990s and the expensive, high glamour sensibility of those decades—an interesting choice as TikTokers start pointing to a less-is-more "recessioncore" aesthetic, where the mega wealthy are encouraged *not* to flaunt their riches.

Some key style moments have included decadent bikinis such as a poolside lingerie pic, vampy larger-than-life colours such as a twinning leopard print moment with Dolly Parton, skimpy dresses like her mini with giant keyhole cutout and gold lamé like her Jean Paul Gaultier thong bodysuit.

And now she's back with more OTT fashion inspo! Specifically, on Instagram Miley shared a trailer for Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)—a new performance special of her album—and the outfits are amazing.

One particular look has taken our fancy. In the trailer on IG and on YouTube, she can be seen wearing a dramatic, one-legged bodysuit in black. With a strapless bandeau-style neckline, it has a skinny leg on one side whereas the other side is high-cut at the thigh and has no fabric covering the leg at all.

After doing some digging, we can tell you the unique outfit is vintage Maison Margiela—v glam.
