No one redefines fashion education better than FAD Institute of Luxury, Fashion & Style. And their showcase at Dubai Fashion Week SS26 was testament to that. On 5th September 2025, more than 20 emerging designers from FAD unveiled a striking lineup that poured fresh creativity, bold ideas, and cultural storytelling onto the runway.
Revealing a striking fusion of ready-to-wear and prêt-à-porter collections, the lineup highlights sculptural silhouettes and asymmetric tailoring to fluid layering and intricate corsetry, the collection truly was an ode to experimentation and individuality. The collections channel influences from heritage, surrealism, and architectural forms, giving the audience an intimate glimpse into the distinct voices shaping the future of fashion.
The evening also honoured outstanding achievements with four coveted awards: the FAD Talents Award 2025, the Innovation & Creativity Award, the Commercial Viability Award, and the Emerging Talent Award. These prestigious honours were presented by an esteemed jury panel featuring renowned figures from the field such as Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Chalhoub Group, Dubai Design District, Hu Management, Madame Arabia, and Noor Holding, making it a true recognition of talent by global industry leaders.
FAD has been steadily carving pathways for students to not only learn but thrive on international platforms; they have campuses across Dubai and India offering industry linked undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional short courses that provide hands-on engagement with top international fashion and luxury labels.
FAD Co-Founders Shivang Dhruva and Shirin Aminian quote “This showcase celebrates the creativity and innovation of FAD Talents on the runway. FAD remains committed to nurturing the next generation of Indian creative talent and supporting its students and talents by giving them both local and global showcasing opportunities, continued advisory, and industry access.”
What truly puts FAD out there is its vision to build a stronger creative ecosystem in the region, nurturing innovation and tech-driven design. From London to Milan to Dubai, FAD’s talents have walked some of fashion’s most iconic stages, and the Dubai Fashion Week showcase reinforces the institute’s role as a launchpad for the next generation of boundary breaking creatives. At a time when the industry is hungry for fresh perspectives, FAD’s runway was a reminder that the future of fashion is not just bright it is bold, fearless, and unapologetically original.
