Joanne and Noah are back—here’s what Season 2 of ‘Nobody Wants This’ has in store

The wait is finally over because the trailer for Nobody Wants This Season 2 just dropped, and let's just say it is packed with chemistry (and, of course, a few hiccups that come with trying to be a "We"). Fans can expect laughter, romance, and all the messy realities of love as Joanne played by Kristen Bell, and Noah, played by Adam Brody, navigate their complicated world together.

In the first season, viewers were introduced to agnostic podcast host Joanne and rabbi Noah, who fall head-over-heels in love despite all the odds. Their sizzling chemistry broke the internet, and Brody’s character was quickly dubbed “the man every woman deserves.” Their unexpected romance defied religious and cultural boundaries, mixing comedy with heartfelt moments that kept audiences hooked. The season concluded with a touching finale: Joanne decides to convert to Judaism to be with Noah, but backs out in the last minute, not wanting to lose her identity. And in a grand gesture, Noah rushes to her, declaring his love and his choice to shun societal norms to be with her, leaving fans swooning and eagerly anticipating what comes next.

Season 2 promises even bigger shake-ups. The couple is now figuring out how to be together while "doing the interfaith thing," as Joanne puts it. The trailer shows them juggling social circles, hosting dinner parties, and navigating the challenges of a committed relationship. One could expect a mix of comical and emotional moments as the couple faces a clash of religious expectations, debates about children, family drama, and evolving friendships. Clearly, the honeymoon phase is over, and reality has come knocking.

Season 2 also introduces fresh faces, bringing new dynamics to the storyline. Leighton Meester (Brody's real-life wife) joins as Abby, Joanne’s middle-school nemesis-turned-upbeat mommy influencer, while Seth Rogen will guest star as Rabbi Neil, adding his signature humour to the mix. Their appearances promise to inject even more fun and drama into the series, giving fans a few delightful surprises along the way.

The new season drops on October 23, and anticipation is building for a ride full of love, laughter, and the challenges of merging two very different worlds. While Season 1 charmed us with butterflies and new romance, Nobody Wants This Season 2 dives into the complexities of adult relationships, giving Joanne and Noah a reality check beyond the initial spark. Get ready for a heartfelt, hilarious journey through love in all its messy, beautiful glory.
