Ray-Ban at Magnetic Fields Festival: Reverse Garden ‘the talk of the festival’, eclectic music performances and a coveted secret party

This is officially the season to let your hair down, take a well-deserved break from work and allow yourself to have a whale of a time. With the weather incredibly pleasant and the festive spirit impelling us to revel in the pleasures of life, we did just that recently, at the Magnetic Fields Festival 2023 with Ray-Ban! It took place on December 15-17, at Alsisar Palace, keeping us engulfed and intrigued with the music, art and cultural experiences curated by Ray-Ban. The brand which has always been admired by visionaries, culture influencers, and trendsetters, is known to lead the way in crafting extraordinary experiences. This was particularly evident at the Magnetic Fields festival in Alsisar, Rajasthan, where the brand's commitment to enabling individuals to embrace their authentic selves shone brightly.

The festival's highlight, the Ray-Ban Reverse Garden, enchanted over 6,000 attendees with colossal Reverse trees, offering a unique sensory experience. This avant-garde space, inspired by Ray-Ban's latest REVERSE collection, showcased four gender-neutral sunglasses—Aviator, Wayfarer, Caravan, and Boyfriend silhouettes—boasting the groundbreaking feature of its first-inverted lens, seamlessly transitioning from convex to concave. The collection is a landmark one for the brand as it exhibits innovation and style, in one fell swoop. The Reverse collection matches the festive vibe at the Magnetic Fields Festival perfectly—bold, vibrant and transcendent!

Festival-goers immersed themselves in the mesmerising atmosphere of the Reverse Garden, grooving to beats at the Ray-Ban Desert Oasis stage. From music performances under the glistening sun to upbeat energy-replenishing ones under starry skies, Ray-Ban ensured everyone at the fest got their dose of euphonious delight. Both incipient fest-lovers to returning patrons at the Magnetic Fields Festival were in for a spectacular experience from day 1 itself, which kick-started with the Warehouse Mix collective featuring DJs No Mo Soul and Tartaruga.

The Ray-Ban arena showcased a GIF Booth set against an appealing branded wall for capturing special moments. There was also a DIY corner for Tote Bags, where a live artist personalised the bags. A stunning presentation of Ray-Ban's newest collections, including the Reverse range, drew in a steady stream of festival-goers throughout the day.

What’s more, Ray-Ban’s Secret Party was a coveted one as Glasgow-based Numbers celebrated their 20th anniversary at the event, on the first night, setting up the perfect vibe for the days to come. Happening at an undisclosed location, the secret party drowned people in electrifying music by Hudson Mohawke and label co-founder, Spencer. The rest of the days witnessed eclectic performances featuring artists such as the duo of Dar Disku, Jennifer Loveless, and a special showcase ‘AAGUU Presents: Solar Spirit Feat. AAGUU X Alex Kassian, Taofu & Rishi Sippy’ at Ray-Ban Desert Oasis Stage. With a well-assorted mix of musical talent, Ray-Ban brought a heterogeneous range of styles across the electronic music spectrum—from chill-wave, and downtempo to progressive house and techno with strands of disco and trance.
