So, This GOAT was Arrested on Monday...

While we were hurrying to work on Monday morning, a goat was busy being arrested by the police department in Chhattisgarh. The accused goat (oh, how we LOVE this story) was 'raiding' a senior beaurocrat's garden in the Korea district, and has currently been booked with charges that could land him in prison for up to seven years!

The goat was, however, produced in court and granted bail from the arrest, which all started with a complaint from District Magistrate Hemant Ratre's gardener. The animal, according to the Chhatisgarh Police, was a 'repeat offender'.

"The judge's bungalow has an iron gate and the goat used to jump over it and enter. The peon who maintains the garden had warned the owner of the goat many times. So he filed a complaint and we arrested the goat and its owner," said Assistant Sub Inspector Srivastava to the media.

The goat is currently awaiting court judgment with his owner, Hassan.

Yes, this incident is 100 percent legit (even though it sounds as ludicrous as can be).
