Are Circumscised Penises More or Less Sensitive? The Answer Is Finally Here!

Gather round, ye penises of the internet, for I have important information regarding the sensitive nature of dicks everywhere!

In a study recently published in The Journal of Urology, 30 circumcised and 32 non-circumcised men between the ages of 18 and 37 put their dicks to the test for science. Researchers tested things like tactile detection, warmth detection, and pain threshold and found no differences between the subjects. They also surveyed them on intercourse satisfaction, orgasmic function, sexual desire, and overall satisfaction, and again, no differences were found.

"This study indicates that neonatal circumcision is not associated with changes in penile sensitivity and provides preliminary evidence to suggest that the foreskin is not the most sensitive part of the penis," said lead author Jennifer Bossio from Queen's University Ontario.

This is excellent news for penises, especially those in the United States, where most men are circumcised. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the overall rate among U.S. males age 14 to 59 is 81 percent.
