The French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus has found a way to stay in news. When the creative wold was struggling to create content in isolation, he brought a fresh take to seasonal campaigns by getting Bella Hadid photographed for the brand via FaceTime by photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti. The photos, first-of-their-kind drew a lot of attention. And before the buzz of the campaign could subside, Jacquemus has introduced a series of viral photographs featuring his grandmother Lilline. The designer who is under quarantine in Southern France, in his home town of Marseille, made his grandmother the muse for his latest Spring/Summer collection.

Lilline poses in pieces from the brand such as a power-pink suit, a crisp white suit, and a breezy green maxi dress, among others. The photographs have been clicked by Jacquemus on his iPhone. Jacquemus who shares a special bond with his grandmother, who raised him after he lost his mother as a child, writes in his Instagram caption: “one of the most special [stories] for me.”
Liline who looks confident and effortlessly chic in the new campaign for the brand proves that great style has nothing to do with age.
