The biggest comeback of the decade just dropped! BTS has announced its long‑awaited world tour, and naturally, ARMY everywhere is going berserk. This marks the septet's—Jin, RM, J‑Hope, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—first full‑group global tour since they all wrapped up South Korea’s mandatory military service and regrouped for new music and performances that fans have literally been counting down to for years.

After a nearly four‑year break from full‑group touring, BTS is returning to the global stage with over 79 shows spanning 34 cities across five continents. Beginning in April 2026 in Goyang, South Korea, the tour will go on till March 2027, and wrap up in Manila. This comeback is paired with a new album slated for release on March 20, this year, giving fans of the band not just concerts but also fresh music to scream along to.

All you need to know about the tour

For years, BTS fans have been counting down to this moment—the full lineup back on tour after mandatory military service took them offline for individual duties. Their last major group tour, Permission to Dance on Stage in 2021‑22, now feels like a lifetime ago, making this comeback a historic return to collective performances.

After months of teasing, the official world tour dates are finally here, and the fandom is buzzing like never before. The schedule is massive: it kicks off with multiple nights in Goyang, then heads to Tokyo before sweeping across North America with stops in Tampa, El Paso, Stanford, Las Vegas, and more. Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, and Australia are all on the itinerary, with the tour wrapping up in Hong Kong and Manila in March 2027.

Tickets go on ARMY Membership pre‑sale in late January, followed immediately by general sales. Fans are already bracing for what’s shaping up to be the ticket scramble of the year.

But if there's one fandom that's clearly unhappy and heartbroken, it's the BTS ARMY in India. Despite months of fan theories, hashtag campaigns, and outright hope, the initial world tour schedule does not include a stop in India. That omission has left many in the Indian ARMY disappointed, and they aren't shying away from expressing it on social media either. Posts range from meltdown threads to hopeful speculation that India could be added in a later announcement.

Despite the current lineup missing India, BigHit Music has signalled that more dates could still be announced, meaning this story isn’t over yet. Fan accounts are already campaigning online to show just how passionate the local fanbase is. There is still hope that India could make the cut in a second wave of dates if BTS members witness the collective meltdown the Indian fans have been having ever since the world tour announcement.

Until then, ARMY everywhere, from Seoul to Sao Paulo, is gearing up for what promises to be one of the biggest, most emotional tours of BTS's career. The band’s return to the stage isn’t just a series of concerts; it’s a global celebration of their journey together and the fan love that never went away, even when they were away from the stage and limelight.
