5 Things That Should Be in Your Kitchen and in Your Beauty Regime

1. Give your eyes a break

If your eyes are looking puffy and tired (thank you, Netflix), here's an easy DIY eye pack. Take half a cucumber and make a smooth puree. Add some rosewater to it. Soak moon-shaped cotton pads into the solution and place it under your eyes for at least 20 minutes. Cucumber has ascorbic acid and phytochemicals whereas rosewater is known for its soothing properties!

2. Add more volume to your hair

You may know this, but if you use a lot of dry shampoo or mousse (or are addicted to blowouts), your scalp may be feeling lifeless. All those products leave a residue. Add a teaspoon of baking soda to your shampoo and wash your hair as usual.

3. Grow your eyelashes

Scanty lashes have you reaching out for falsies? Simply add castor oil to your mascara (a few drops will do) or apply it directly onto your lashes using a Q-tip, and see the difference!

4. Give your pout a scrub

If you can't live without Ruby Woo—it's essential you give your lips a good scrub. It takes care of dry flakes and helps glide on the lip color of your choice without visible cracks. Take a tablespoon of organic honey and add a teaspoon of crushed brown sugar. You can also add a drop of olive oil for more moisture. Apply it gently onto your lips using a toothbrush and massage gently. Wash with lukewarm water.

5. Make your own face pack!

Here's how: just take one tablespoon gram flour, a teaspoon of sandalwood and a pinch of turmeric. You can either add rosewater or milk to the mix. Apply it onto your face and neck and leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Hello, glowing face!
