Huda Beauty Revealed She Dissolved Her Lip Fillers Because They "Ruined Her Lips"

Huda Beauty aka Huda Kattan has followed in the footsteps of Kylie Jenner and revealed she's had her lip filler dissolved.

The creator of the Internet's favourite liquid lipsticks, not forgetting eyeshadow palettes, explained in a YouTube video that she first got her lips filled in 2009, when "it really wasn't super popular".

Since that point, Huda continued to have lip injections, but despite visiting some of the best clinics and doctors in the world, she candidly revealed that lip fillers actually "ruined" her lips.

"From my personal experience, I don't actually think I got the benefit that I was looking for. I wanted my lips to look bigger, but I don't think I was looking for that plumpness, I think I was just looking for more width, more height."

Not only did she not get the effect she wanted, but Huda also revealed that she felt her lip fillers made her lips look worse over time.

"I personally don't know anybody who's had lip filler, kept it in their lips and continued to look good over time. It may look good when they first put it in, but I feel like it starts to move. I've been filling my lips for the last ten years and it just started to look really bad, I was constantly trying to fix them and make them look better."

After visiting a doctor who told her that her filler made her look "old, plastic and fake", Huda made the decision to have all the filler from her top lip dissolved.

Despite comparing the pain of dissolving her fillers to that of childbirth, Huda revealed that she is much happier with her new lips, "I look more natural and so much better". Warning others of getting filler, Huda added that she can get the effect she always wanted just by over lining her lips with liner.
