Proving his potential in Bollywood again and again with his acting skills, Abhishek has grown a thick skin over time to get over the comparatively less bitter things like social media trolling and controversial remarks thrown at him. That moment being one of the incidents he'll never forget, he elaborated the situation saying, "One moment I’ll never forget. My film Shararat was released and I went to Gaiety Galaxy to see the viewers' reactions. There was a lady who was stepped out of theatre during the interval and saw that I was standing near the concession stand. She came and slapped me. After that, she said that ‘you’re embarrassing your family’s name, stop acting’."
