Here's a List Of the 10 Most Googled Celebrities Of 2018

We are fast approaching the end of 2018, and it feels like the entire year went by in the blink of an eye. There was, however, a ton of stuff that happened this year. Looking at tinsel town, half of Bollywood got married, for one. A whole new breed of star kids made their debut, as well. There were some lovely people lost, some fabulous ones gained, a royal wedding, and a wink that made headlines to top it all off! And, we were all sitting on our smartphones and computers, Googling the deets at each and every moment. So, to take you on a trip down memory lane, we decided to compile a list of the most Googled celebrities in 2018 (from India) and relive everything that happened last year.

1. Priya Prakash Varrier

If you don't know her name, you certainly know her wink! Malyalam actress, Priya Prakash Varrier, who won the hearts of many with her wink in the popular song ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi...’ , became a sensation overnight. She was everywhere, in memes, links, you name it. She made it to the top of the list as India's most Googled celeb.

2. Nick Jonas

But of course, we are all obsessed with Nick. International pop star Nick Jonas  become a sensation in India once he got engaged to Priyanka Chopra, and it seems he had the whole of India watching and Googling him.

3. Sapna Choudhary

Sapna is a dancer, a former Big Boss contestant, and super popular in Haryana. Her dance videos went viral and were Googled a lot, putting her at number three of this list.

4. Priyanka Chopra

With her career, her love life, and her Instagram on fire, Priyanka had everyone watching what she did next. Her recent fairytale wedding to Nick Jonas in Jodhpur caught the attention of the entire world. We, of course, were Googling every moment as well.

5. Anand Ahuja

Sonam Kapoor's hubby and Founder and CEO of popular brand Bhane, Anand Ahuja, was somewhat of a mystery to us, and we wanted that mystery solved. With Sonam always in the limelight, Anand has kept himself a little private, and that is probably why we Googled him more than his wife. We are a curious bunch after all, are we not? Especially when it comes to the cute husbands of Bollywood actors. 

6.Sara Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter has arrived, and boy, did she do it with a bang! She made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath only a couple of weeks back, and she's already the sixth most searched celebrity according to Google India this year. We don't see why not, because this girl is absolutely fabulous and a delight to watch. She will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty's Simmba, which also stars Ranveer Singh. Looks like everyone's waiting for Sara, doesn't it?

7. Salman Khan

Salman is probably India's most loved celeb. He has made it to the Forbes' annual list as the highest paid Indian celebrity for the third year in a row, and people can't seem to stop Googling him or watching his films.

8. Megan Markle

Meghan Markle officially became a member of the British Royal family when she married Prince Harry in May 2018.The former American actress who is popularly recognized for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits, takes the eighth spot on the list. I guess we all love royalty. :)

9. Anup Jalota

Singer, Big Boss contestant, and king of controversy, Anup caught everyone's attention dating a much younger woman on the popular TV show. Look's like everyone wanted to know what was going on there, doesn't it?

10. Boney Kapoor

Sadly enough, this was probably due to the sudden death of his wife Sridevi. Boney and his daughters were all over the news and the internet, and we all sympathised with them on this tragic occurrence.
